Welcome to Fakecation ("we", "our", "us"). This experience uses Artificial Intelligence to generate entertainment-focused holiday images based on user-submitted photos. By using this application, you agree to these terms and privacy practices.

2. Image Collection & Usage

To provide the Fakecation experience, we collect and process the image you capture via your webcam.

• Processing: Your image is sent to Google Gemini AI for analysis and image generation. We do not use your image to train these models; it is processed solely to generate your "holiday" photo.
• Storage: Generated images (the output) are stored in our database to populate the public gallery seen on the landing page. The original source image (your selfie) is processed transiently and is not permanently stored after the generation session is complete.
• Public Gallery: By using the app, you acknowledge that the AI-generated result may be displayed publicly in the "Recent Trips" gallery on our landing page.
• Usage Rights: By using this platform, you grant Fakecation and its creators a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, broadcast, and distribute the generated images on any social media platform, website, broadcast medium, or third-party site for promotional and entertainment purposes.

3. AI Disclaimer

The images produced by this tool are generated by Artificial Intelligence. They are for entertainment purposes only. We cannot guarantee specific likenesses or results. Occasionally, AI may produce unexpected or varying artifacts.

4. Cookies

We use minimal local storage and essential cookies solely to ensure the application functions correctly (e.g., maintaining your session state). We do not use third-party tracking cookies for advertising.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to upload images that are illegal, offensive, explicit, or violate the rights of others. We reserve the right to remove any generated content from our gallery at our discretion.
